Abstract

This research investigates the enhancement of creative thinking skills in students through an interdisciplinary approach that combines standard enthalpy change of formation calorimetry with the artistic technique of steaming eco-print motifs. The study aims to assess the effectiveness of this integration in fostering problem-solving abilities, creativity, and a deeper understanding of both scientific and artistic principles. Employing a mixed-methods design, the research involves quantitative pre-and post-tests to measure changes in creative thinking skills, alongside qualitative surveys, interviews, and observations to capture student perceptions and experiences. The participants include students selected based on specific criteria to ensure a representative sample. The findings indicate a significant improvement in creative thinking skills, highlighting the value of interdisciplinary methods in education. This study contributes to the literature by demonstrating the potential of combining scientific and artistic techniques to enhance educational outcomes, offering practical recommendations for educators and policymakers to incorporate such approaches into their curricula.
