Implementing learning during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia has resulted in the essence of learning not being achieved, which is a process of change in behavioral aspects. Meanwhile, in this era and future, professional resources who have abilities to think beyond and create something that can solve the issues are still needed in the industry. Education models and methods must be developed to replace conventional methods that are no longer sufficient to satisfy the needs of those kinds of issues. One of the learning models known to be effective and popularly used is the Project Based Learning (PjBL). Utilizing game elements in the learning method is also believed to be one of the effective ways in learning activities to gain better learning results. In recent years, one of the technological trends that have been studied by researchers in many fields is the Game Technique in education. Modification of the learning method and model is still in development, but research that combines the two methods is still very little developed. This study aims to analyze trends in the development of Gamified-PjBL in physics learning research in 2017-2022 using the bibliometric method aiming to describe (1) VOSviewer visualization of publication developments and (2) VOSviewer visualization of publication developments based on researchers. The results of Vosviewer's visual analysis show that educational research with the keywords G-PjBL on science, especially physics, is quite a trend in 2019. However, there are still very few who review these two topics simultaneously. There is a potential for novelty in research on applying a gamified Project-based Learning model to the physics concept. © 2024 Author(s).
