The life skills education program is one of the non-formal education programs that seeks to improve skills, knowledge, attitudes, and abilities that enable learning citizens to live independently. This research aims to analyze the need for life-skill learning models for students in non-formal education to construct entrepreneurial independence. This research method uses a qualitative approach to identify learning models suitable for learning residents. Data collection techniques use semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation. Collaborative interview activities with ten Community Learning Activity Centers (CLAC) known as Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar (PKBM) students. This research shows that students are interested in studying life skills modules that construct entrepreneurial independence. However, the development of modules will not only contain theoretical but also practical ones. This is to motivate students to learn so they can construct independence well. The research implications can encourage CLAC and the education department to develop learning models to increase learning citizens' entrepreneurial interest. © 2024 Author(s).
