Abstract

This study aims to investigate end-user perceptions of the ERP Government System. Using variables for their usefulness, simplicity of use, competency, user pleasure, and individual impact on performance. The samples were financial staff from Indonesian government entities. The data was gathered using a questionnaire and a purposive sampling technique on Google Forms. Our responders are involved in government resource planning, execution, and financial reporting. The data was analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings revealed that, while perceived usefulness had no influence, competence and perceived ease of use had a positive impact on the satisfaction variable. Additional data show that, unlike variable competition, the variables’ perceived utility, perceived ease of use, and perceived ease of use have a positive impact on the variable’s impact on performance. This finding helps the government, which applies innovations in financial statement production, raise employee competency levels even higher, affecting individual performance. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.
