The thyroid is a show that plays a vital role in hormone regulation in the human body. If the thyroid is impaired, it affects the body's function and results in abnormal body functions. Some diseases caused by thyroid disorders are very diverse, and it is necessary to have a system in place to diagnose someone with thyroid disorders so that it is appropriate to check for sloping symptoms. Therefore, the right system for the diagnosis of thyroid disorders is an expert system. Expert systems can replace the role of experts in a particular field, in this case, medical personnel who play a role in the diagnosis of a disease. The expert system tries to make a design according to the symptoms of body diseases that lead to thyroid disorders. This expert system used the certainty factor method, which categorized some thyroid disorders and the confidence level of each disease category. This design is in the form of a framework and can be developed further to be implemented for patients. © 2022 IEEE.
