This study aims to determine the effect of the STEM Project Learning Model on the ability to make science encyclopedias in elementary school teacher candidates. This research was conducted on elementary school teacher education students at the University of Halu Oleo, Kendari. This science encyclopedia consists of an introduction, concept development, real-life application, concept reinforcement, and evaluation. The encyclopedia of science is very useful for prospective elementary school teachers as a means of competency development and to meet the challenges of globalization so that they can become professional teachers. The results obtained indicate that the use of the STEM Project Learning Model can affect the ability of prospective elementary school teachers to create a science encyclopedia. © 2021 Author(s).
