Abstract

The research that has been carried out aims to find out the readiness of prospective teachers of STKIP Kusuma Negara Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) in serving children with Special Needs classified as Autistic. The intended teacher candidates are PGSD semester 7 students. This research method is descriptive. The sample in this study is the seventh semester PGSD students of 86 people. The data that has been collected is analyzed and described. The results of the research are the students theoretically have been able to provide services to children with autism, this can be seen from the results of tests and interviews. But in providing services to autistic students, direct practice is needed in the field by students. © 2020 ACM.
