Digital Storytelling of Physics (DiS-Phy): A Learning Media Innovation for Fluid Topics based on STEM Approach

Abstract

The low understanding of physics concepts, especially fluid materials, and the lack of innovation in learning media present unique challenges to the development of educational media. Learning media develops along with technological advancements. The existing learning media are still lacking in variety, causing students to feel that physics learning is not enjoyable, compounded by the fact that the concepts of physics themselves appear abstract and difficult to understand. In this case, the research aims to develop a digital storytelling of physics (dis-phy) learning media. The development of this learning media is based on the STEM approach, which can enhance students' understanding of physics concepts, particularly fluid materials. The learning media was developed using the ADDIE method. The results of this study are expected to provide an alternative learning media that is more engaging and effective for students, thereby increasing student involvement in the learning process. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
