This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional regulation with creativity in children aged 5-6 years. The hypothesis of this study is that there is a positive relationship between emotion regulation and creativity in children aged 5-6 years in the city of Gorontalo. The sample of this study was 86 children aged 5-6 years taken using propulsive sampling technique. Data collection uses two psychological scales, namely emotional regulation check list and TCT DP test data analysis using correlation shows the correlation coefficient value rxy = 0, 812 with p = 0,000 (p <0.001). The results indicate that the proposed hypothesis is accepted, i.e. there is a positive relationship between emotional regulation and creativity in children. The higher the regulation of emotions, the higher the creativity, the higher. © 2020 SERSC.
