Abstract

The purpose of this research and development is to produce a game-based short distance number learning model (ASAHI) in elementary school students. This research and development was carried out to gain in-depth information about: The development and application of short-distance running number learning models (ASAHI) based on games for elementary school students and knowing the effectiveness, efficiency and attractiveness of students towards the models had been made. This research and development used Research & Development (R & D) research methods from Borg and Gall. Test the effectiveness of the model used a sprint test to find out the skills of students before giving treatment in the form of a developed model and to find out short distance running skills after treatment or treatment of the model developed. The value of t count got a result of 15.54 which means that when compared with the t table that obtained was greater; it was 15.54> 2.00 which means that H0 was rejected. For this reason, based on the data obtained, it could be said that the game-based short distance learning (ASAHI) number model is effective and can improve the learning skills of short distance running numbers for elementary school students. © 2019, Institute of Advanced Scientific Research, Inc.
