Dual-Band Bandstop Filter (DBBSF) is one of the microstrip filter technology that can suppress unwanted signals effectively simultaneously in two separate frequencies. On this research discussed the design to proposed of a dual - band bandstop filter with microstrip method defected structure dual plane, the design of the model T-DMS (Defected Microstrip Structure) on the top plane to generate a working area of first stopband frequency at 3.3 GHz - 3.4 GHz with a bandwidth of 100 MHz and design models U-DGS (Defected Ground Structure) on the bottom plane to produced a second stopband frequency at 5.150 GHz - 5.825 GHz with a bandwidth of 675 MHz. Design and realization of this dual-band bandstop filter used substrate Roger 4350B, with a thickness of 1.524 mm, and effective permittivity = 3.48. Result from Realization of dual-band bandstop filter defected structure has dimensions 76 × 17.5 mm with the first bandstop at 3.35 GHz and the second bandstop at 5.47 GHz. © 2019 IEEE.
