Abstract

While gamification and team-based learning are recognized for enhancing engagement in early childhood education, significant gaps persist in securely and transparently documenting developmental milestones. Concurrently, Blockchain technology offers robust solutions for data integrity but remains largely unexplored in early learning contexts. This study aims to address this gap by proposing a novel conceptual framework that integrates gamification and collaborative learning with a secure Blockchain-based infrastructure. Employing a qualitative descriptive methodology with a library research approach, this work synthesizes findings from educational technology, early childhood pedagogy, and Blockchain literature to construct the integrated model. The primary result is a comprehensive framework where gamified team challenges are designed to boost numeracy skills, motivation, and social interaction, while the Blockchain backend manages a secure, token-based reward system and creates immutable, lifelong learning portfolios. This model provides a transparent and tamper-proof record of a child's learning journey, enhancing communication between educators and parents. In conclusion, the proposed integration offers a transformative approach to early numeracy education, though its efficacy is contingent on developmentally appropriate design and holistic implementation. Future research should focus on longitudinal studies to validate the model's long term impact on learning outcomes, comparative analyses against traditional methods, and further investigation into the ethical considerations and technical scalability of deploying Blockchain in diverse educational settings. © 2025 IEEE.
