Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of mobile application-based financial literacy training on changes in financial attitudes of migrant workers. A total of 50 participants participated in a financial literacy training program that utilized a mobile-based personal finance application. The research method used was a pre-test and post-test design, with paired t-test analysis to test differences in attitudes before and after training. The results showed that there was a significant increase in participants' positive attitudes towards the use of financial applications after training (p < 0.05). This finding suggests that the use of digital technology in financial literacy training is effective in increasing acceptance and confidence in personal financial management. The discussion of the research results strengthens previous findings that digital financial literacy can improve financial management behavior, especially among vulnerable populations. The practical implications of this study are the importance of integrating digital technology into financial literacy programs to expand access and effectiveness of training. This study also underlines the need to develop application-based programs that are adaptive to the specific needs of migrant workers. Further research is recommended to evaluate the longterm impact of training on changes in actual financial behavior and expand the scope of respondents. © 2025 IEEE.
