Ethnic and cultural diversity in Indonesia is one of the materials in Civics subjects in elementary schools. This material is complex because students have to study various ethnic and cultural groups throughout Indonesia, but they also have to appreciate cultural diversity as a practical learning result from PPKn learning. Therefore, elementary school students in Jakarta must learn the local culture, namely Betawi culture. So, this problem was created based on an analysis of the needs and characteristics of elementary school students. This research aimed to produce a digital book of stories based on local wisdom as a form of cultural and civic literacy. The study used the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) development model. Digital storybooks based on local wisdom as a form of cultural and civic literacy are suitable for use in class V PPKn learning in elementary schools on sociocultural diversity material by obtaining feasibility test results from twelve experts with different scientific characteristics, namely material, media and design experts—learning, culture and language. The validation results carried out by these experts based on calculations using Aiken's V show that all V indices are > 0.69 (Aiken's V table). © 2025 American Institute of Physics Inc..
