Abstract

In the era of industrial revolution 4.0 which requires learning not only to be held face-to-face, but also online through distance learning or more familiarly with blended learning, it is not an exaggeration if this article aims to highlight the fact that lecturers, especially at Bina Nusantara (Binus) University, still uphold the important role of organizational commitment and organizational trust in their task performance. The facts from this research actually showed how significant is the influence of organizational commitment and organizational trust on lecturers’ task performance in delivering blended learning for the students in the era of industrial revolution 4.0. Actually, the educational process is required to take place in a hybrid manner with a combination of online and offline learning methods. This research used quantitative methods and literature study. The results of this research showed that organizational commitment and organizational trust have a significant influence on lecturer task performance in delivering blended learning in the era of industrial revolution 4.0. This result is certainly conducive for Binus University, which emphasizes the importance of every academic community member (so called: Binusian) having a smart and good characters. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).
